  3. Do you have parking?

Yes, we have ample parking at the rear of our building. Access to the lot is from Revere St.( a one way off of Deering Ave.).
  4. Do you make house calls?

Yes, we typically travel all over Maine and New England. However, if needed we can come to you where ever you are. We are always looking for a new and exciting road trip. If you need us to come to you just call us to set up an appointment.

  5. Do you do repairs or only new work?

We do both, and more! At Phoenix Studio you can have any stained glass fixed, created, cleaned, replicated, restored, or refurbished. Call or come in so we can assist you today.

  6. Do you ever create a stained glass window from artwork done by a customer?

Of course! The more that each client is involved with the design and color choices, the better the results. Besides, it is more fun for you to help in the process, selecting glass textures and colors. Our experienced staff will gladly "walk" you through the process.

  7. Do I have to know anything about glass in order to take your classes? I have never done this before.

No, we have several levels of instruction, geared to your experience.

  8. Can I get your assistance on a project?

We are happy to help our customers with pattern modification, glass color selection, and correct sizing for your project. On occasion we offer "Open Studio" nights with one-on-one assistance and use of our saws, grinders, kilns, etc. This allows you to come in and work on your stained glass projects, with our studio to use. Please call or e-mail for more information.

  9. Do you have glass that can be installed in cabinet doors?

Yes, we have literally hundreds of colors and textures to choose from. We have many choices in clear (no color) with contemporary as well as traditional patterns available. We can even install the glass for you!

  10. Can you actually install stained glass windows in my house? I don't even own a hammer!

Yes, we can install your windows and door inserts if necessary. If you know how to do that sort of thing yourself, then you can just pickup your commissioned art glass at our studio and install it yourself.

  11. Is stained glass very expensive?

Wow, how to answer that ! OK. The pricing is based on the size and then the complexity of the design So if you had a piece that was 16 x 20 and had 15 pieces in the design, that would cost less than the same size design with 215 pieces in it. Now, if you receive exactly what you were looking for in exactly the style and colors that you wanted, then you have gotten VALUE for your investment. We make everything right in our studio.
